Help
How can we help?
Answers to what people ask most. Still stuck? In the app, go to Help and message us, or write to support@nyzen.one.
01Getting started
Which currencies can I hold?
US dollars and USDT (Tether). Add USDT or USDC from any wallet, on ten networks. One USDT is one dollar, and you can spend either anywhere in the app. Money sent home arrives in taka, to bKash, Nagad or any bank in Bangladesh.
What do I need to open an account?
An email address, a phone number, and an ID document for the identity check. You must be 18 or over.
Why do you ask for my ID?
Verifying who you are keeps your account from being opened or used by anyone else, and it’s required to hold and move money. It’s a one-time check.
02Adding and receiving money
How do I add money?
In the app, tap Add money and choose bKash. NyZen charges nothing to add money; the amount and anything the method charges is shown before you pay.
How do I get paid from abroad?
Open your own USD account details in the app, or share your USDT address. Share them with a client or employer and their bank transfer lands straight in your NyZen balance. You can also send a payment link that anyone with NyZen can pay in a tap.
What is a payment link?
A link you share to be paid, for a set amount or any amount. Whoever opens it pays from their NyZen balance with their PIN. Links look like nyzen.one/pay/….
03Sending money
Is sending to another NyZen user free?
Yes. It arrives straight away, and if they keep another currency, they receive it in theirs at the rate shown before you send.
Can I cancel a transfer?
A transfer to a bank or mobile wallet can be cancelled in the app while it is still being checked, and the whole amount, fee included, comes back. A transfer to another NyZen user arrives at once and cannot be cancelled.
I sent money to the wrong person. What now?
Contact support in the app straight away with the reference. We will contact the recipient, but we cannot take money back from their account without their agreement.
04Cards
What does a virtual card cost?
See fees. Topping it up and withdrawing back to your balance are free.
A card payment was declined. Why?
Open the payment in the app: when the card network gives a reason, it is shown there. The usual ones are not enough money on the card, the card being frozen, or online payments switched off.
What do spending caps do?
They alert you when you pass them. To stop payments, freeze the card.
05Security
Is my money safe if I lose my phone?
Every payment needs your PIN or fingerprint, and card details stay hidden until you unlock them. Change your password from another device and your lost phone is signed out, and you can freeze or cancel any card.
I forgot my PIN.
Tap Forgot PIN on the PIN screen. We send a code to your email, then you choose a new PIN.
Someone contacted me claiming to be NyZen.
NyZen will never ask for your password, PIN or codes. Don’t share them, and report it to security@nyzen.one.
06Your account
How do I check a NyZen statement is genuine?
Scan the code on the statement, or enter its number and seal at Verify a statement.
How do I close my account?
In the app under Profile & settings → Close account, or on the web at Close your account. Move or withdraw your balance first.
When can I download it?
NyZen is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Check back here, the store links will appear the day it goes live.
