Close your account
You can close your NyZen account at any time, in the app or right here.

01Before you close
Empty your balance first
An account holding money, or with a transfer still on its way, can’t be closed: the money would have nowhere to go. Send it, withdraw it or move it to your bank, and wait for any transfer to arrive.
02In the app
- Open NyZen and go to Profile & settings.
- Tap Close account.
- Confirm with your PIN.
03On the web
No phone to hand? Enter your account’s email. We send it a code, and the code closes the account.
04What happens to your data
- You are signed out of every device at once, and the account can no longer be used.
- Your profile, preferences and other personal data are deleted once any open matter is settled.
- Transaction and identity records are kept for as long as anti-money-laundering law requires, usually five years, then deleted.
